Programs offered through the IGC are designed to cater for distance learning. As long as you have a connection to the internet and meet the appropriate entry requirements, you will be able to access all the information and support you need from anywhere in the world. This is especially useful if your professional commitments prevent you from travelling to an IGC Centre.
If you have a sufficient level of professional experience, none of the IGC programs requires you to attend formal classes. All your study can be undertaken with the support of your assigned Academic Advisor and the Central IGC Administration.
IGC post-graduate qualifications have been designed specifically for professionals in the Creative Media industries. This means that the work you undertake as a graduate student with the IGC will be directly relevant to your current or planned profession. In addition, wherever possible programs are structured to be mutually beneficial to employees and employers, meaning that your employer will be more likely to contribute to and assist with your studies and personal professional development.
The MA Creative Media Practice program offers the possibility to gain academic credit by recognition and accreditation of students’ professional competence and achievements, which can shorten the period of study. Alternative pathways are available for students with a relevant first degree in a creative media subject or even with a first degree in a non-related subject.
Programs offered through the SAE IGC are internationally recognised. Armed with a qualification from the IGC, you are able to progress to a higher level of degree qualification wherever and whenever you choose to further your education in the future.
All SAE IGC programs are designed with the Creative Media Professional in mind. They are geared towards broadening your career opportunities and specifically set out to train future leaders in the various sectors of the Creative Media industry. The IGC strongly believes in tuition that develops not just practical media skills but also those needed by successful directors and managers.
Once you are registered on a program with the IGC, you are put in direct contact with your appointed Academic Advisor who will remain your main point of contact for academic support throughout your studies. This means that you will receive support and feedback from an advisor who is already well acquainted with your progress and intentions.
